    IT Asset Specialist
    This a full time opportunity. 
    This is an on-site opportunity in Sterling, VA 

    About this Position

    The IT Asset Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing IT assets across the organization. This position focuses on tracking the full lifecycle of hardware, software, and licenses while ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to keep IT infrastructure running smoothly and securely.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets from procurement through disposal
    • Audit and track hardware assets, including servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points
    • Process IT asset requests, validate approvals, coordinate shipping, and maintain accurate records
    • Partner with procurement and engineering teams to support upgrades, replacements, and deployments
    • Generate reports on asset utilization, costs, compliance, and inventory accuracy


    Job Skills / Requirements

    • Hands-on experience with IT asset management tools, including ServiceNow
    • Familiarity with hardware inventory, licensing compliance, and vendor coordination
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation
    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
    • Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting 20+ lbs for rack-and-stack work

    Pay Range
    Pay Range: $30–$35/hour
