    Financial Analyst
    This is a contract opportunity.
    This role is Hybrid (3 days in office) in Baltimore, MD


    About this Position

    Join our Global Capital Markets – Corporate Lending team as a Financial Analyst, where you’ll help produce the daily profit and loss (P&L) for various trading strategies. In this role, you’ll reconcile the Business Unit’s estimated P&L against the firm’s sub-ledger P&L and investigate discrepancies. You’ll gain exposure to financial products, trading strategies, and risk and finance systems that support the firm’s operations. This position offers a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of corporate lending and financial reporting within a global markets environment.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Produce and reconcile daily profit and loss (P&L) reports across multiple strategies.

    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between estimated and sub-ledger P&L results.

    • Collaborate with finance, risk, and business partners to validate data accuracy.

    • Develop working knowledge of products and strategies used within Global Capital Markets.

    • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines.


    Job Skills/Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.

    • Basic understanding of financial products and concepts.

    • Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, lookups).

    • Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience with digital tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx is a plus.

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    • Must be local to Baltimore, MD and available to work in-office 3 days per week.

    Pay Range

    Up to $35-40/hour
