About this Position

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Analyst to join our team! This role involves working with a diverse range of clients, including Endowments & Foundations, Pension Plans, Family Offices, and Financial Intermediaries. As a Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for formulating investment policies, making strategic recommendations, and leveraging the company’s portfolio construction process and research platform.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory services, playing a key role in developing and delivering recommendations.
  • Formulate investment policies and guidelines, offering insights on funds, strategies, and portfolio characteristics based on internal research and established viewpoints.
  • Monitor portfolios with a focus on performance, risk, exposures, and alignment with overall asset allocation.
  • Maintain strong relationships, ensuring loyalty and retention through exceptional service.
  • Conduct annual reviews and thoroughly evaluate published research on alternative assets.
  • Participate in meetings, act as a representative in formal consultations, and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Meet with asset managers, provide reports and strategy summaries, and assist in preparing strategy timing reports.
  • Conduct bespoke research, prepare presentations, and maintain a strong understanding of client objectives.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and prepare portfolio risk models.
  • Deliver accurate reports and recommendations, adhering to best practices in portfolio construction.

Job Skills/Requirements

  • 5+years of relevant experience in the alternatives industry.
  • Strong written communication skills and possession of or advanced progression towards relevant professional qualifications (CFA, CAIA, CPA).
  • Proactive self-starter with excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in systems such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.

Pay:
