About this position

The Marketing Manager is responsible for forecasting and driving Retail Marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Retail Marketing Strategic Plan and Brand Creative Platform. This hybrid role requires past retail marketing experience, strong brief writing skills, and excellent communication abilities. The position requires in-office presence on Tuesdays and either Wednesdays or Thursdays.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of in-store programs by crafting creative briefs that inspire the creative team.
  • Evaluate creative work and provide feedback to ensure marketing assets align with the Retail Marketing Strategic Plan, Brand Creative Platform, and support merchandise initiatives.
  • Coordinate with project management, art buying, and production to ensure programs are delivered on-time and within budget, enhancing the customer experience.
  • Participate in content shoots, partnering with creative teams on pre-production details and aligning on merchandise priorities.
  • Lead the creative development of in-store digital content, including dressing room monitors, Call Forward, digital screens, in-store messaging, and music.
  • Responsible for maintaining and overseeing the Retail Marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and expenditure of resources.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing Specialist, providing guidance, support, and opportunities to develop and grow their skill set.
  • Collaborate with Store Brands, Store Operations, Store Design, Creative, Project Management, and Production teams to build consensus and drive results.

 

Skills/Requirements

  • ·  Proven experience in retail marketing, with a strong portfolio showcasing brief writing and creative campaign management.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in marketing and creative tools/software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong organizational capability.
  • Additional Information:
  • 4-month contract

Pay/Salary Range:

 

  • Pay Range: $40-47/hour.
