Maintenance Lead
This is an onsite opportunity in San Jose, Palo Alto, and Union City, CA.

About this Position
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations across assigned communities, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role includes supervising maintenance staff, managing daily operations, and performing preventive maintenance to keep properties in top condition.
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff and provide input on performance reviews.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations, including move-ins, move-outs, and inspections.
• Oversee or perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance maintenance.
• Coordinate contractor work, inventory control, and purchasing of supplies.
• Conduct property safety inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Job Skills/Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in property maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience leading work crews and unit turnovers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to maintain accurate inventory and records.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with staff, residents, and vendors.
• Valid California Driver License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required.
Additional Information
• Onsite position with on-call responsibilities for evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Requires standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in confined spaces on a regular basis.
• Must comply with OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, and company safety standards.
Pay Range
$35-40/hour
