About this position
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of IT projects within established deadlines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver projects that meet the organization’s strategic objectives and drive technological advancements.
Job Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify and assess project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure project feasibility and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage project execution according to the established plan, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and lead project team members, providing guidance, support, and direction.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, report progress to stakeholders, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Monitor project performance, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, promoting effective communication and resolving conflicts.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and performance evaluation.
- Document and share project outcomes, best practices, and recommendations for future projects.
- Provide input and expertise in developing IT strategies, roadmaps, and project portfolios.
Job Skills/Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, successfully delivering complex IT projects, including operating system upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems, and technology trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within strict deadlines.
- PMP certification or other relevant project management certifications are desirable.
- PowerPoint experience is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with voice/networking experience.
Additional Information
- This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extending/converting.
Pay Range:
- $65-$75/HR
