Job Responsibilities
- Payroll Data Management:
- Investigate, audit, and reconcile master data for Student Payroll.
- Develop and refine standard reports, processes, and metrics for decision-making.
- Data Integration & Analysis:
- Evaluate data extracts and support integration with new systems, including BUWorks and Student Employment.
- Collaborate with finance and administrative teams to address and resolve student data issues.
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
- Scrutinize master data to mitigate risks of fines and penalties from federal regulations.
- Ensure accurate taxation and withholdings for student payments.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate with and advise managers as needed on payroll-related issues.
- Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
- Special Projects:
- Act as a key team member in system evaluations and enhancements.
- Provide insights to improve payroll operations and ensure compliance.
Job Skills/Requirements
- Experience:
- Experience in payroll, accounting, or finance with a focus on data analysis and compliance.
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail.

Pay Range
- $25-30/hr
