Call Center Representative- Mortgage Services (Houston, TX)

About this Position
Are you passionate about helping people and providing exceptional customer service? We’re looking for Call Center Representative- Mortgage Services to support homeowners by answering questions, processing mortgage payments, and connecting customers with the right solutions.
No mortgage experience? No problem! We’re looking for dependable, customer-focused individuals who are eager to learn. Paid training is provided, and high-performing employees have the opportunity to convert to a full-time role after approximately 3 months.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service while assisting homeowners with mortgage-related questions.
- Handle inbound calls regarding mortgage accounts, escrow, website assistance, payoff requests, and general account inquiries.
- Process mortgage payments accurately and efficiently.
- Make outbound calls to homeowners with past-due accounts using manual and automated dialing systems.
- Connect homeowners with internal specialists to develop customized payment solutions.
- Refer eligible homeowners for refinancing opportunities.
- Maintain professionalism while meeting quality, productivity, and attendance expectations.
- Participate in ongoing training and consistently represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills. (call center experience is a plus, NOT required)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Ability to multitask while navigating multiple computer systems.
- Must pass two role-readiness assessments during training (80% or higher).
- Must successfully pass a background check and credit check.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance are required.
Training & Schedule
- Day 1: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM
- Paid Training (2 weeks): Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Academy/Nesting (60 days): Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
- One Saturday per month (approximately 4 hours) with adjusted weekday hour upon converting to full time employment
Pay
- $18.00/hour
- Attendance Bonus: Earn bonuses during your first 90 days with perfect attendance at each milestone.
