Administrative Assistant

About this Position:
The Administrative Assistant supports day-to-day clerical, recordkeeping, and processing duties within the assigned department. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of office tasks, leveraging standard office technology and company systems (training provided). The Administrative Assistant will interact with faculty, staff, students, and the public, handling general inquiries and scheduling needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical tasks, including data entry, document processing, and text editing.
- Assist in gathering data and preparing reports for department needs.
- Provide information to faculty, staff, students, and the public.
- Handle general correspondence and manage appointments based on provided guidelines.
- Schedule meetings, reserve rooms, and coordinate necessary equipment.
- Manage inventory levels and order office supplies as needed.
- Support team objectives by completing assigned clerical or administrative duties efficiently.
Job Skills/Requirements:
- Proficiency in common office technology: MS Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including faculty, staff, students, and the public.
- Basic knowledge of data entry, scheduling, and general office management.
- Business training or relevant coursework beyond high school is preferred.

Pay Range:
- $19.00-20.00/hr
