Accounts Payable Clerk

About this position
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk specializing in Accounts Payable to support accurate invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. In this role, you will help maintain strong accounting controls, resolve payment discrepancies, support close activities, and partner with internal teams and vendors to keep financial operations running smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
- Code, verify, and process high-volume vendor invoices in accounting software using accurate branch and department codes
- Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH payments, wire transfers, and recurring vendor payments.
- Maintain vendor records, collect W-9 forms, track 1099 data, and resolve billing discrepancies with vendors.
- Audit employee reimbursement claims and corporate credit card expenses for alignment with company policy.
- Perform monthly accounts payable reconciliations and maintain organized digital financial records to support audits and regulatory exams.
Skills/Requirements
- Experience with accounts payable, bookkeeping, invoice processing, vendor maintenance, or related accounting functions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort using ERP, accounting, or expense management systems such as Concur, Fiserv DNA, or Wisdom.
- Strong attention to detail, data-entry accuracy, numerical verification, organization, and recordkeeping.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and resolve routine discrepancies in a high-volume environment.
- Professional communication skills for vendor dispute resolution and cross-departmental collaboration.

Pay/Salary Range:
